Birthday Thoughts

The many races in the human race intrigue me.  There are hundreds of different Caucasian ethnicities — subspecies.  Just as there are as many African subspecies and Asians...

Perhaps I should have majored in anthropology so I could better understand homo sapiens and how they came to be.  Based on the theory of evolution there had been a number of species jumps which I also find fascinating.  Homo Sapiens... which we are ... are less than 200,000 years old.  It appears that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of Homo Sapiens.  Homo Sapien means "Wise Man" in Latin.

From google: "Homo sapiens evolved in Africa from Homo heidelbergensis. They co-existed for a long time in Europe and the Middle East with the Neanderthals, and possibly with Homo erectus in Asia and Homo floresiensis in Indonesia, but are now the only surviving human species."

Interesting, don't you think?  It's the ONLY surviving species... hmm... perhaps or perhaps not

We're having designer babies these days and perhaps now we have a subspecies of homosapiens that isn't universally recognized.

Are we 'Wise Men'... like the 3 Wise Men who visited Jesus when he was an infant in the manger?

From Google: "In scientific classification, human beings are tagged with the name Homo sapiens (Latin: “wise man”). In his 10th edition of Systema Naturae, Swedish botanist and taxonomist Carl Linnaeus coined the term (describing himself as the type specimen)."

hmm... fascinating...  Homo Sapiens evolved in AFRICA... so we ALL have AFRICAN ancestry...  interesting
